Very good while I was there. Two weeks off to start, after 5 years, Three; 10 years, 4 weeks vacation. You may bank unused vacation up to 4 weeks (20 days). Half day vacations were allowed for odds and ends like car service of leaving early on a vacation.

Best thing about their Vacation & Paid Time Off is: you get more than other companies and so it provides a slightly better work/life balance

Extra days are earned yearly instead of in blocks, but days are vested on a monthly basis.

Best: There is paid vacation and you do get to use it. Worst: In the last five years they've scaled back the maximum amount of vacation that can be banked to now just being a week or two, I think.

I negotiated for an additional week of vacation ("paid time off") which they phased out the next year when they gave me three years of "vacation" when i really should have gotten 3 weeks vaca and 1 week pto. I was pretty upset.

They will let you take a vacation but don't be surprised when they call you each time you leave because they will not properly staff an operating plant.
