Pay seems competitive for job responsibilities, 401k match is as good as you can get, bonus is usually at target

The health insurance is okay - none of the benefits are great. Paid time off is tough to accrue. The disconnected upper management.

3 weeks vacation for all new hires, 4% automatic 401K employer contribution with an additional 6% match, bonuses are tiered to your position level, 3 personal holidays each year and several company holidays.

Engineers are drastically underpaid and under valued. On average Duke Energy pays engineers 10-15% below the market and would rather pay someone with a lesser degree more than an engineer. Make sure you get the best salary offer before you get in, because once you are in there are no actual raises.

Great 401k matching (100% of 6%). Newly added paid 6 weeks Maternity/Paternity leave. Vacation starts at 3 weeks but takes a long time to get the 4th week.
