“Decent vacation time. Sick time can be given to co workers in need.”
Academic freedom to create syllabus and teach the course as desired.
Health benefits options are great. Not too pleased with Dental benefits/changes made. PTO/Holidays are great. A variety of other employee benefits offered that are not state mandated that are great!
Premiums are expensive if you add family members
Part Time employee do not qualify for any benefits.
Well, in my situation I had no benefits because this was a work/ study position and was contractual. However, I believe that their health benefits were fairly good, but I do know that most of the people that I worked with had not had a raise in over 5 years... That is a shameful thing... The staff there is really great.
Very high co-pays unless you want to pay for your insurance; dental is good, vision is good, not much life insurance, no 401K.
