Plenty given, just no good time to take vacation, as they are always short staffed and there are no back ups. So you come back to a stressful mess. Most employees abuse it so that they accumulate much more than others. When they take off they fill in extra time or lie or say they worked from home.

Not very understanding of taking time off, even if you're sick. They expect you to be there no matter what but complain if you come into the office sick. Its a catch 22
