Dynetics benefits are slightly above Industry standard for an aerospace company in Huntsville, Al. They used to be far above industry standard, but in the last couple of years, they have been reduced to more closely match industry.

The company is 100% employee owned and contributes toward retirement accounts in a great manner that can accelerate your retirement savings compared to other companies. The Supplemental Life Insurance offerings for employee and SO are reasonable also.
Best thing is the above industry pay, generous PPL, ESOP and 401K. Worst thing is the lack of sick leave (sick leave is charged to PPL) - but the generous PPL for seasoned employees does offset it sometimes.
Excellent benefits! Company contributes 10% to retirement (7% ESOP and 3% 401(k)) with no matching required. Offers Traditional PPO or High Deductible health Insurance plans. With traditional PPO, every 2 weeks, my family insurance deductible is $187 for medical, $8 for vision, and $42 for dental. Doctor co-pays are $25. Generic prescriptions are $5. Emergency room co-pay is $150. Company provides free life insurance policy at 3 times your salary (up to $300k), free life insurance for dependents at $10k each, as well as competitively priced long term & short term disability insurance. Company provides Flexible Benefit Plan or Health Savings Account of which can contribute tax free money to help with medical bills. Company provides mental health services through America Behavioral; co-pay is $25 per visit. Huntsville location provides a nurse practitioner onsite for all medical needs with NO co-pay. It is normal to get same day appointments and the nurse can prescribe all drugs as well as draw blood for lab orders. 10 paid holidays a year. Employees start with 3 weeks of paid time off per year. Employees with over 15 years of experience accrue 6 weeks of paid time off per year. Company provides educational assistance of up to $5,250 per year. Company also provides $2,000 for adoption expenses. Company pays for jury duty, up to 2 weeks of military leave, and up to 3 days for bereavement. They also reimburse relocation expenses. Like I said at the beginning, excellent benefits. :)
Less PTO than other employers. Also lower pay than comparable companies, but they argue that they compensate for that with generous retirement benefits.
Great 401k and Stock options
Medical coverage has been great, premiums are not too bad and you have the option of participating in an FSA. The 401k matching is on par with the area. The Dental could be better.
