High Deductable Plan is scary at first ($6000 for family), but company matches your HSA contribution (to legal limits) and they add generous contribution at year end (as profits allow). If you have no major medical issues, this money adds up pretty quick. Even if you do, insurance pays 100% after you have met deductible (whether you paid or used HSA. It is NOT "use or lose", money carries over year after year, and it is yours even if you leave company! Debit card access allows you to pay for ANY medical need from that fund and it's all "pretax" money! GREAT plan!
