I never had to take advantage of this but everyone seemed to be very well supported.

Maternity is good for new mothers, it is based on time spent with EF, which can be difficult for new hires, as the benefits are simply not here. Paternity is only 2 weeks.

The maternity leave was generous beyond the American standard.

    2-week paternity leave, below average

Some companies don't even have maternity or paternity leave and this company offers it as well as flexibility.

In the US, it's generous to offer any paid time off at all, so EF does well compared to many companies. However, I do think the companies that EF compares itself to when it comes to benefits/culture have outpaced EF here. Big tech companies like Twitter or Google offer much more generous leave than EF now, for either parent. Maternity leave starts at 20 days and goes up to 60 days depending on how long you have been at the company. Paternity leave is 10 days.

EF offers a very flexible paternity leave, in addition to a great maternity leave.

Better than most companies in the US for maternity leave
