The vacation is good, medical is currently not costing me a dime o ut of my pocket for me or my family
Health insurance (includes dental PPO and vision) is great and much cheaper than I previously paid. Saving about $300+ on insurance a month between myself and spouse. PTO is 15 days with 7.5 days of sick leave. 401K Plan and pension plan (vested after 3 years). On Wednesdays there are free healthy snacks and there are several days each month that there will be free lunch in the office.
The benefit package was very good
TOP Notch benefits package.
No healthcare premiums. Excellent coverage.
401(k), separate retirement account which divests after 3 years, several options each for medical, dental, and vision (all good options), health savings account available, and a profit sharing program. Vacation time for salary positions is not stellar, starts at 2 weeks(or 10 work days)/year, moves up by one week at 5 years of work, another week at 10, another at 15 and finally maxes out at 5 weeks/year at 25 years.
As of 2018 there are no insurance premiums taken out of employee paychecks. This is a huge savings for me and my family. I would like to see a better wellness program that covers more items. As it stands right now there is a wellness program but it only covers certain items. It's a better program than what we've had in the past, but if there was more work put into it, it could be something really beneficial to all of the EVRAZ employees.
They have great benefits including a competitive 401k and retirement plan, generous PTO plan (15 days), and great medical insurance. However, I was not able to take advantage of it because I was a contractor.
The insurance is wonderful and the 401k is nice as well.
Best: No Insurance premiums even for a family. Not a clear PTO policy
