“All major holidays offered. If it falls on a weekend, you get the Monday or Friday off.”
It was great to have the pension - which is now frozen. Provided time off during the week to volunteer at other organizations. Overall good benefits.
Bad benefits - but good program
They recently added a dental package, but you can't expect too much from a non profit.
403B with no match, PTO accrues much slower than similar agencies, 2 options for health insurance package
Great health, dental, life insurance, and commuter benefits. However, no 403b matching.
The benefit package was awesome except the dental
The company offers 401K, sick time pay, requested time off, paid holidays, and vacation to part-time employees. However, vacation/requested time off submissions must be submitted at last the month prior on the 15th and are accepted based on company's service needs and flexibility. As a part-time employee, I was not offered any type of medical benefits and it was hard to acquire full-time status since you have to be employed full-time for the whole quarter prior to being eligible. For instance, employment status was broken up into every 3 months and you have to have been full-time from ex. April-June completely to even be consider full-time status for these benefits.
The vacation and holiday benefits are good for a non profit.
generous vacation benefits, sick leave and holidays
Poor Insurance costs but added a 403b
