For Behavior Interventionists in the Riverside County, CA: Vacation and paid time off requests must be submitted at least a whole month prior on or before the 15th for the month requesting. They are usually good at giving you the days if they could find others to cover your hours, not a lot of people request those days too, and they are able to afford your absences. However, sometimes they approve or deny your requests so last minute that sometimes you are left waiting on their end. For example, I had requested at the beginning of the month prior for a weekend and didn't hear back for the days requested until like 4 days before those days.
