Two weeks paid and supplemental salary to close the gap of short term disability. Other agencies are starting to offer fully pod mat leave for 16 weeks, edelman is quickly going to lag

Way behind the times, they need to do a minimum of 6 weeks for new mothers/primary care giver and three for the other parent. Absurd policy

StarStarStarStarStar Current Senior Project Manager in New York, New York State

Only 6 Weeks For Maternity Leave With Partial payment, And Only 3 Weeks paternity.

  • Oct 02, 2015
StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Chicago, Illinois

Recommend a phased transition back and gradual increase to regular client travel for returning mothers

    It was easy to do.

I took four months paid but that was only because I had 7 years of sick time saved and short term disability. Edelman offers two weeks paid (3 for paternity) - which is more than most companies, sadly - but it still could be increased, especially since most people don't have that much sick time saved.
