Maternity leave can be extended up to 12 weeks. Lots of paperwork and some can feel pressured to come back sooner.

Recently extended maternity leave to 16 weeks paid time and paternity time to two weeks off. Very generous but didn’t apply to me.

The firm is very progressive in this space for our industry. For financial advisors- the fly out a person to take care of your clients while you’re on leave.

Maternity leave just changed to 16 weeks. You get zero of your salary if you're still on it, and you get the average of your last 6 months of commissions. Your standards do not stop increasing while you are gone, so you play catch up when you're back.

They just changed it to make it way better for new mothers in the field as FA's. It used to be bad but they really improved it.
