You only get half off your food until you're a shift lead, then you get $8 of free food per day. This seems alright until you throw a bag with 125 bagels into the dumpster at the end of the night with hungry employees going home empty handed. Then it makes you a little upset.
the only good thing is if your a shift leader or a manager you get a free "manager meal"
also has a family discount
Coffee and soda are free. Employees get 50% off. A bagel with cream cheese costs around $2 with your discount. Shift leaders and above recieve an $8 credit per shift. While nice, is the price of 1 sandwich and many shifts are 10+ hrs.
The only good thing is that shift leaders and above eat $8 for free a scheduled shift. The regular crew get 50% off BUT the food is pricey, the employees don't get paid barely $8-8.50...when you get paid every two weeks, that doesn't ad up to much when you don't even get 40 hours a week. If employees didn't have money for food, they DIDNT eat. Period. ONLY employees that were brought in as friends by the General Manager got to eat free. He would embarrass employees that couldn't afford to eat and embarrass employees he thought were over weight if they ordered food in front of him.
Very fair discount for the overall cost of an item on their menu
employee discount is 20 % but not on retail items and employees do not get a free meal while working.
The best thing is that shift leads get a free meal once per shift. The worst thing is that regular employees have to pay for their meal but with a 50% discount. Many companies give all employees one free meal per shift regardless of their title.
General manager offered us free food (up to 1 meal), free drinks from fountain soda and coffee machines. 50% off anything else
They charge employees 50% off when it hold be free. they charge shift leaders after 8$
