“Best thing is good matching rate for 401k; worst thing is no real pension”
403b is good. You can choose to open Roth IRA too. The pension is ok. night differential. PTO accumulates over time.

The longer you work, the better the benefits.
Not a fan of the medical benefits— two choices are free HMO, or high deductible plan. Wish there was a PPO plan we can choose (even if it has cost sharing). I’m happy with the retirement plan, vacation hours accumulated, and education leave. Wish there was a birthday holiday like other places, or even a real pension but I think it’s competitive if you compare salary and work environment.
