Paid vacation and nine paid holidays are given to eligible Lilly employees.

Extra week for anniversary months (10, 15, 20 etc) and everyone gets the week between Christmas and New Year off.
120 hours immediately prorated upon starting your 1st year. 10 floating holidays. 5 days for winter break. 3 personal days. Previously mentioned reset 1/1 every year. Additionally unlimited aka *3 sick days which reset every 365 days. You get 3 before you have to go to HR.
You do get a good vacation plan that increases with time in the company. You can also buy extra vacation which is a great advantage
I'd enjoy a few more base days of vacation, but there is the option to purchase more if i want--it just comes out of my paycheck.
New Employees get decent out of box vacation days. Seniors get anniversary perks days off. Cannot roll over to next year. Can buy vacation days too.

You can buy or trade up to a weeks of vacation every year. You get recognition weeks every 10 years you are with the company. The downside is you can rollover vacation.
