“At Emerson Manila, they've availed a "fund type" HMO and by Philippine law, it taxes the employee every use. They have had 4 years to change an HMO premium/account, multiple employees have complained but still they are not doing anything about it.”

Benefits are good. Comparable to other companies.
Best thing is benefits kick in during your first full month of employment. Worst thing is the cost, but it's comparable to most other fortune 500 companies.
401k plan lacks in stock choices.
Was great to new management came in
Best: 5% matching 401K Worst: 401K full match not available until after 5 years! That's no longer the industry norm and while intended to serve as motivation to stick around, it's not. They may say there is employee mental health care but the plan is not good. You call into an anonymous call access to a consultant but there's no real professional mental health counseling. They are not trained psychologists or psychiatrists unfortunately. And the in network professionals are not typically the best in the market. Most of the really good mental health experts don't take insurance at all.
