They used to meet your contribution, they don't any more.

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off(5 comments)

PTO and vacation are the same. no sick leave and have to use PTO if the school is closed due to bad weather

  • Health Insurance(4 comments)

Good coverage but not everyone takes it

Health insurance is decent. Tiered so you can choose. No 401k match whatsoever. PTO is ok and depends on length of employment.

They do offer a lot of benefits. The benefits they offer however do not cover a lot of your medical expenses.

You might as well pay the doctor straight out. High deductible plans.

I thought this would be a great job but soon found out the opposite! *this a dead end thankless job *I make $5/hour less than my coworker *no room for advancement *no training on current industry trends *company provided lesson plan asked me to teach men's eyebrow shaping for 7 hours, really? how about 15 minutes? *one color class for educators in 7 years *I have had 40 students by myself on the floor, ratio is 24 to 1 *no training on what to teach in class *what teachers teach is not consistent in the school *routinely asked to work double shifts of 15 hours *staff comes together and helps one another to get the job done *I am asked to do admin/management duties that are not consistent with my job description *raises are non-existent *management says one thing and does another *management does not back up the staff, we are thrown under the bus constantly when students don't like a decision *it is enjoyable to see the students succeed and graduate
