The state insurance benefits and pension is great.
Excellent package when qualified to receive it.
We got health insurance as adjuncts and paid into a retirement fund, and the health insurance if you went to a Center of Excellence paid for all things related to cancer,
Benefit is okay. very high premiums and copays for health insurance.
This is an impossible question to answer. The best is that a benefits package even EXISTS for contract (adjunct) faculty. As there is a faculty union, there is also union sponsored vision & dental plans. However, as the pay is per student (roughly $125/student) and courses can run with as few as 6, maintaining the benefits eligibility of two courses in both fall and spring semesters, employee contribution for benefits will basically consume any income.
I was a contract employee so I didn't get benefits. I would have liked to get a discount on taking classes but this was not offered.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
