StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Houston, Texas

Best thing is that it is offered. Worst thing was low matching.

You can put in up to 15% of your salary and they match 40% of that. It sticks and is yours after 3 years.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Staff Geologist in Houston, Texas

The company has historically matched employee annual contributions by a discretionary 25-40% (based on a maximum of 15% of compensation). I have received ~30% contribution from ERM on my yearly 401k. You are solely vested after 3 years of continuous employment with ERM.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Partner (Performance and Assurance) in Walnut Creek, California

    Fairly generous company matching amount

  • Aug 13, 2016
StarStarStarStarStar Former Senior Consultant in Chicago, Illinois

Matching is optional but I never had a year the company match was not applied.

  • Jul 19, 2016
StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Exton, Pennsylvania

Company does matching once a year and Vanguard has numerous plans and assistance programs.

  • Jun 10, 2016
StarStarStarStarStar Current Associate Engineer in Austin, Texas

typical match has been 40% for every dollar up to 15%, so you have to save 15% to get full benefit, rather than just matching the first 6% at 100%
