Good 401k Match %. Decent premium for insurance. Hiring department have zero to do w/knowing the existing staff that applies for promotions. It's all a popularity contest.
The entire Total Rewards package is one of the best in the industry in this area.

Company recruiters tout benefits as being second to none, however, they are average compared to other companies in the area, and especially other healthcare companies. Salaries are also average and in many cases less than market value. Health insurance premiums are pretty decent with 2 plans, to choose from - a free plan where you pay no premiums but with higher deductible and co-pays, and a buy-up plan where co-pays and deductibles are slightly less. Sick time is fixed no matter how long you have worked for the company and is very little to last an entire year.
Medical insurance is very reasonably priced. If you are fine with high deductibles, they even have a plan that is of no cost to you. The401-k match is amazing also.
Two medical/prescription options - base (premiums paid at 100% by employer) and buy-up with very reasonable employee contribution. All the basics are covered - dental, vision, life insurance, short term and long term disability, FSA. The 401K match is the best around with a 9% match! Vacation, sick and personal time is good, but limited on how it can be used. Would like to see it changed to PTO.
