The comments saying; "they do not pay for time off" "had to find coverage" "only get two weeks" " and you have to be good at your job to take time off," are all very confusing to me. I have worked at equity for two years and in the last 6 months have taken 3 vacations. A week in July, a week in October and now for Christmas. I did not plan ahead for at least one of those although it is always good to make it known as soon as possible out of courtesy. But equity also offers good sick and personal time in addition to giving three floating holidays (you choose when to use them). Based on the number of employees at the community, the requirements can change but I have always found the regional team willing to help as long as you are willing to help when needed too.
