Paid Vacation need to be planned carefully long time in advance, but customers urgency can influence in Slovakia, it was my experience. Overtime was not possible to get paid , HR asked me to change reported time to only standard 8hours a day.
In the US, you get vacation time commensurate with your years of tenure at the company but it starts well because you have 15 days a year. You have to use it or you lose it in year which is a downer but there is a good option to sell one week of vacation time a year back to the company (i.e. if you don't think you can use it all). I have the tenure to have 25 vacation days a year. As well, everyone gets the equivalent of 11 public holidays a year - 6 or 7 are company wide and that is supplemented with a few floating and personal days. In addition to that, the maternity/paternity (both) programs have improved significantly since 2016 and everyone has access to sick days, kin care days and a couple of volunteer days. Overall, management is flexible unless you're contracted to work with a specific customer and then you're subject to their management as well.
You get extra 5 days paid leave yearly.
I was happy with the vacation options.
Good paid vacation time, if you can take it...
very good vacation, time off is good
After 7 years you do not get an increase in time until 19 years of service.
you get a fair amount, 3 weeks at start date. they have holiday pay and floating holidays so you take time when you need it. I would say this is fair in today's workplace. Generous sick time that can be used for family.
3 weeks as soon you start
Good vacation package and other paid time off
