This company offers some of the best benefits packages.
The benefits are pretty scarce for a "teaching hospital" in terms of tuition reimbursement. They also felt they had the right to stop 403(b) contributions during COVID.
The benefits package at Erlanger Health System provides good options for preventative health.
employee financial participation keeps going up
Health insurance has very limited access to specialists. Other coworkers report no bonus or salary change in over 7 years.
The insurance premiums go up every year and don’t cover as much. You have to see Erlanger physicians, the insurance won’t cover anyone else.
I do not use their benefits. I have had better at other hospitals though.
The retirement match is very skimpy.
Insurance is well priced, but not very good and you pretty much have to use Erlanger. So say good-bye to your PCP.
PTO, could provide more days considering its meant to cover sick, holidays and vacation.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
