“Such a wonderful opportunity to take time such an extended period off work with our newborn without having to worry about our finances changing. ”
“Good health insurance with a relatively low co-pay.”
“Good about working from home sporadically, pre-covid there wasn't as much flexibility around working set days from home. ”
Parental leave, vacation and sabbatical policy
Amazing benefits! No premiums on healthcare, inclusive 6 months parental leave, competitive vacation. Paid sabbatical! Lots of perks like gym discounts and mental health programs.
Incredibly supportive with comprehensive benefits
Great benefits all around — most impressive for me has been the six months paid parental leave (gender blind). Also has really generous vacation time, sabbatical, great insurance, and much more.
One of the best things about Etsy is that they offer six months paid parental leave for mothers and fathers alike.
Etsy has the best benefits & culture when compared across any other tech company!
Best: includes things that most companies are just catching up to, like mental health care, career coaching, and insurance for medical conditions regardless of gender identity. Worst: vision plan leaves much to be desired, and bonuses can feel paltry once taxed.
6-week paid sabbatical after five years at Etsy is a really motivating benefit. Also, 26-week paid parental leave (gender-blind) also motivates me to stay with Etsy, even when I'm not anywhere near starting a family. Our vacation time off isn't quite as good as other companies (20 days), but we also have 40 Volunteer Time Off hours per year, and unlimited Sick Time Off.
Comprehensive benefits package, felt well cared for
Etsy's benefits are well thought out and informed by employee preferences
