All our employees receive a generous package of benefits and perks, typically within 30 days of their start date. This includes:
The 401k isn't matched or at least it wasn't in 2018
They have good health insurance and are good about giving time off for vacations. However, they do not have 401k.
The new updated 401k plan is GREAT! Dollar to dollar match on the first 4% and immediate vesting of your match. Great plan update.
The benefits prices are very compatible to other big corporations I have worked with such as BOA, and Santander USA
They have great medical benefits and they give you a lot of paid time off which you start to accrue immediately.
The Benefit package looks good at 1st glance but the medical actually covers very little and the 401k contribution is dismal with an extended time to become vested in what little they have put in against your maximum contribution. Good vacation and PTO benefits if they let you take them.
Exeter is way better than my old company in mortgage industry so I'm happy where I am. I love my team. The leadership team in corporate are good at career. Only complaint is its a smaller company so no good benefits development.
PTO is for advance days off and have no sick policy. So if you are sick you get written up and they take your PTO hours.
The 401k has only a maximum of a 3% match which isn't very good, especially when it is coupled a 3 year vesting period. It really stands out compared to the other benefits which are quite nice!
I really don't like the benefits Exeter offers. I think they should work on that.
