Great Kaiser package Dental could be a little better - but really fine
Good package overall. We have a 402(b) plan, not 401(k) as we are non-profit. Same type of benefit, different IRS rules.
Best-Easy system and affordable options. Includes retirement and commuting benefits. Worst-None
For a nonprofit, the health insurance and vacation/sick time package is great. Bad thing is the institution negotiates the health insurance package occasionally, but the Union firmly steps in to manage the negotiation.
Sabbatical after 7 years, generous time off.
The cost gap between PPO and HMO was very high when I worked there.
The employee discounts are great— really cool gifts for friends.
Incredible vacation time that only increases over time.
Extremeley flexible work environment. If you are management, you have the choice to select unlimited vacation.
Too much vacation has people staying at the same job for too long.
