ExxonMobil offers a pension plan to eligible employees.
Great and high value plan if you stick around until retirement age (15 years service and age 55), you have to meet both conditions to receive the most value. If you leave before turning 55, even with over 15 years of service, you still count as someone who quit before retirement, resulting in a huge penalty.
Company still offers a pension plan. Employees are vested after 5 years of service with the company. Most employees work for 30+ years with the company.
Doesn't pay much but that's way more than what most others offer these days.
very good for okay plan
One of the few companies that still offer a pension.
Great, usually around half of ending salary or lump sum.
I haven't had to use the pension plan but most companies don't have one and ExxonMobil does
You can't retire early (earlier than 55 years old) and earn your pension even if you have had the required years of service (15 years).
Full pension kicks in at about 55 and 15 years of service.
Vested after 5 years of employment
