The best thing is that they pay 75 percent of your dental, vision insurance as well the accept donations of your sick leave hours.

They have made the health benefits very affordable. However do not give reservists access to dental and vision benefits

Benefits are oustanding. Retirement health coverage and leave. Depending on your region deployment support is valuable as well

Above average in 2018 compared to private sector, not what people expect from government work though (worse). 401k and Health.

401K is a 5% match. TSP is same as rest of government. Sometimes get Time off awards etc.

FEMA has a very good benefits package including health (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, and retirement plan.

The best thing about the benefits package that I receive was the paid leave amount after several years of working.
