Expensive package, high deductibles, moderate network

Basically only catastrophe health insurance plans. Very high deductibles. Shady HR policies designed to save them cash any way they can - like not paying out unused vacation time. No perks whatsoever. Worst benefits I've seen.

Does applying for a credit card impact your credit score if declined? Currently have 712 FICO and have been building credit for 10 months with two basic CC’s, looking to get a chase sapphire or Amex gold. Open to other suggestions as well, ideally cards that have a bonus if you spend X amount in a few months. Helpful if the card has major travel benefits but I have yet to start traveling for work and unsure when it will pick up so not necessarily a deal breaker

Unlimited vacation or no tracking of time off is the best benefit.

Limited short vacations and managers don't support all employees equally. HR is also not your friend and doesn't really follow the written and published policies

Good package overall for this company

The best time off package I’ve seen: with 3 weeks of vacation, 8 sick days and 10 holidays! Vacation increases by 1 week every 5 years and caps off at 5 weeks, I believe. Bereavement leave was generous, with up to 5 days off and pretty open-ended on relationship to the deceased. I‘m from a big family with cultural funerals lasting 4 days, so this meant a lot to me. There’s also company matching 401k with up to 4%, health/dental/vision insurance, education benefits and more.
