Best benefits I will ever come across
Depending on your position, some part-timers have access to health, dental, and flexible spending at good rates, but no PTO, Sick leave, pension, retirement, etc. unless you are full time.
The best part about the benefits for Fairfax County Park Authority is the retirement package. There are several options to choose from which helps you find the best one for the future or for right now.
They offer an incredible retirement plan and a generous PTO/sick leave.
The benefits are much nicer and cheap than any other job i have had before it
Health insurance only unless you're a full-time employee, which, of the 120+ staff at this facility, consisted of less than 15 people. The health plan offered was about twice as expensive as the one available through the national insurance exchange.
The PTO, retirement and health is really good.
Benefits offered to part time employees
Health Insurance was great. Retirement package seemed great but you would have to stay with the county for a number of years to see a true benefit.
