“Not bad at all for health benefits”
The pension and 403b plan are competitive. It would be nice if the 403b had a matching contribution but the package as a whole is a good one.
Fairfax County really takes good care of it's employees. The benefits include about everything you could imagine, from health, dental and vision insurance to pension.
County has a great retirement plan, dental and optional 457. Ample amount of sick and annual leave, along with the provided federal holidays.
Good insurance, lots of training, good diversity
Benefits used to be excellent. Today, employees are paying more for medical coverage and salaries have not increased very much in years. The net result is that we are not better off today than we were four years ago.
Comprehensive benefits package. Several health benefit options to choose from, including for part time. Good sick leave. Personal leave per year depends on longetivity.
Comprehensive and robust package which is offered even to some part-time employees.
Defined benefits and vision plans are excellent but health plans aren't as generous.
Good pension plan, leave accrues quickly when you’ve been there for a while
Good benefits package for employees
