Paid training which is quick and hands on
The training is comprehensive, but they provide little time to train people.
I sat at a computer and watched a video about diversity and equal rights, which got me excited about the environment, but they never really mentioned much afterwards.
- 30% off with employee discount - flexible (great for students) - great coworkers - simple job - very rewarding when you help a customer find the perfect shoe
They give you a booklet and that's it
My training was like a crash course and I don't feel it was fair how I was rushed to learn so fast just because the store was in need of a ASA. The best thing about my training was that my manager was great and he took his time to make sure I learned what I needed to know in a timely manner. Without him I couldn't have done it.
There's an easy to use planner and system that organizes training in the store. Also, a lot of it is learned through interactions and experiences with the public.
The only hard part is when training right before back to school it tends to get rushed a little and several mistakes can happen but when time is take everything goes smoothly.
They took their time to make sure that you were the best that you could be.
There is not enough associates working at each location so job training lacks personal one on one. You follow a checklist from a training book and look at online videos.
