401k, PTO, good work life balance
They had a great 401 k Match, good health benefits, and end of year bonuses that really helped boost the salary.
From my interview it seemed like the best benefit they offered was their 401(K) matching options. For new employees they matched up to 6%, but they told me that soon they hope to unveil a new program in 2019 where they will match an even higher percentage if you have worked there for more than three or four years. PTO: 12 days for your first year of employment. Then it jumps to 19 days of PTO after your first year. 9.5 days off for holidays plus 1 floating holiday. Medical, Dental, Vision are also provided. If you speak an additional "useful" language, then they will pay an extra 5% of your salary.
Great & affordable health insurance for my whole family; PTO plus 1 floating holiday per year along with federal holidays off!
You start with 19 days PTO and 1 floating holiday so basically 20 days of paid vacation. After 5 years of employment you get an additional 5 days off to make a total of 25. After another 5 years of employment you get another 5 days off to make a total of 30. The health insurance benefits work well for my family and me. I have subscribed to both the "cadillac" plan in the past with the low deductible and have also used one of the higher deductible plans. I have never had an issue with the health insurance carrier, UHC, paying for services or kicking anything back. The same goes for the prescription medicine insurance. They have never downgraded me and have always allowed for the more expensive brand name medication.
First year the vacation is one day accrued per month. After that, 19 days off per year, Company contributes to 401k and HSA generously, 6% match for 401k and $500 for HSA
Health insurance, 401K with 10% employer contribution, 20 days PTO to start with 5 additional days every 5 years, yearly bonuses.
The benefits package is offered to employees and while the medical insurance is a low deductible plan the cost to the individual is high.
