We are given the standard 6 weeks for maternity and 1 week for paternity, but this is just not enough. Especially with the nature of our jobs being away from home and not having the family support at our new living locations.

A benefit is provided, but it is not sufficient for a modern society. Rated OK because it is better to have something than nothing.

My wife sure appreciated my being able to get some time off to help while she recovered. I want to say it was a week.

Paid maternity and paternity leave. Flexible about additional time off, unpaid.

I had 6-8 weeks off. I can't remember exactly, but it was plenty of time. I was also lucky that I was on a project where I was able to return on a part time basis first, which really made it easier to transition back to work.

Good for women, not as good for men.
