The commission is heavily based on margin, and growth makes you 3x more commish. They change it when it suits them. Calculating your commish is almost impossible. Sell more at a 50%+ margin is essentially your goal. Good to start out, eventually you will want a job making gross commission.
Performance bonuses are a joke. Fastenal uses scorecards and made up goals that are unattainable. If you do make a bonus level they give you five $100 AMEX gift cards or the least expensive iPad (without service)
Commission structure is very company friendly and not to the employee
Commission plan changes frequently and it's never easy to understand how much money you will make.
No performance bonus. This is the downfall to working part time. No incentive to do excellent unless you are self driven.
