“love the company 401K plan”
“Vacation days, personal days, floating holidays and paid holidays.”
“Insurance price is very good but you will found out that at most place, co-pay could be more.”
Good benefits and hours but may not move forward due to favoritism
time off is the worst in
Robust medical insurance coverage and discounted shipping
The cost continues to increase for coverage
I have a B.S. in Computer Science & Mathematics along with a little over 3.5 years of experience in software development. I recently accepted a Full Stack Developer I role with FedEx and am making $72k in Memphis. I am constantly handholding my coworkers who are two or even three levels above me. I’ve been told I’m one of the most experienced in the team despite my title. Given this, how should I go about asking for a promotion? Is it acceptable to ask for a two or three level promotion?

Seeking advice about pivoting career to becoming a recruiter. Would love any advice on how to go about entering the field! Is there an advantage starting at an agency first versus starting out as an internal recruiter? Brief background: Have BBA with double Management/Marketing; career in logistic sales 13 years as Account Executive for both UPS and FedEx. Pivoted career to caregiving industry now 10 yrs later miss the competition of sales. Willing to travel/relocate. Any advice is appreciated!
Fedex or XPO? Got 2 job offer. Field Sales AE @fedex and Inside Sales AE @XPO. Fedex - 77K Base W/5K Sign on. Field Based role so ill be Hybrid. OTE commission is about 18,800 a year which seems relatively low but looking at the comp structure if youre sitting at 120-130% its about 2,500/Month. XPO- 74K Base W/1K sign on bonus. It’s also hybrid (2-3 days in office 2-3 days WFH.) Dont have a comp plan, but was told avg comm a month is 2k with top reps at 10k/month. XPO is 25 miles away fh.
The company time off policy is not generous and also don't allow roll over.
Benefits are basic and not as good as they were back in 2008. They change every year for the worst
Work From Home. Will Experience Calls Back To Back. Room For Improvement.
all the health and retirement benefits are comparable to most of the other corporate companies nothing outstanding but, the main differentiator is if you work in either of the FedEx companies (FedEx Services or FedEx express) then you can purchase standby flight tickets which are super cheap but, of course there are certain limitations on this benefit.
Don’t kick in until 90 days
Awful benefits not an actual thing
