At Fenwick & West LLP, we believe that our partners and employees are our most important asset. Helping employees and their families achieve and maintain good health-physical, emotional and financial-is the reason we offer the numerous benefits below.
*Additional benefits are offered by the Firm and will be disclosed during the onboarding process.
I honestly would not because I was a temporary employee as an intern. I know they offer a 401k program but I did not take part as I worked there for only a little more than 1 month. They offer health care, but only for full-time employees.
Benefits are just "meh". The firm offers most of what you'd expect but there isn't anything to set it apart from everyone else out there.
Has a great 401k plan, with lots of great fund choices, particularly low cost indices
For staff, there is no 401(k) match, but there is a pension plan (and 401(k) is available for your own contributions). Fenwick just cut the staff pension plan contribution by 2.5%. Also just changed the annual bonus criteria, to make it more difficult to achieve a bonus. So, the staff compensation and benefits trend is downward. Employee contribution to medical plans is higher than other firms.
They have reorganized the company. Giddy Davidson no longer in charge. The new guy will destroy Fenwick. He started by reducing their 401(K) contributions to all staff by 25%, People stayed there because the great pension plan that is no more. All done to fund attorney training and people they have brought into marketing so they can end up getting rid of all staff eventually. Not good outlook or look. All of their fake corporate responsibility is on the backs of employees who have been there 30 years having their contributions reduced when close to retirement. They did away with the pension plan last year. This is the second reduction in contributions.
Best Benefits around. They even have Pet Insurance.
Good 401K, health, and dental plans for both the employee and their families.
Good pension plan contribution, transportation reimbursement, health and fitness annual allowance
Transportation reimbursement, BeWell (heath and athletics) reimbursement of up to $250/yr, 401k; Unum Life Insurance; Staff Appreciation Day 8 hour PTO; Kaiser Insurance + Dental; Pension; 5 Year Anniversary PTO gift; Gym onsite
work hours flexibility, participation in many firm events including educational and self development events
