it was great experience
The best thing about Fifth Third Banks benefit package is they match up to 6% of 401k and they offer great vacation time for all employees.
In addition to vacation time off you get bank Holidays off with pay as well, amounting to an additional ten days off
Health insurance and benefits are great. Plus for new moms they have great maternity benefits and flexible leave options!
Health insurance is great here
Vacation time was good. You get sick days, but if your late that will count as a sick day, so your better off just calling in if your 5 or more minutes late. Health Insurance was a joke. They have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and use CVS for prescriptions. The insurance denied EVERY SINGLE CLAIM I had. The most I really got out of that insurance was a flu shot. I had to reprove why I had certain scripts, so for the first 2 months of working there I was completely out of medication until i was able to get in to see my pain doctor just to get the script filled out again and the reason why I needed it.
I like the salary of the position and the health insurance was very good wish other companies had this good. 401k plan could be a little better but still was pretty good
Various options and continually reviewed/updated to adjust to various industry changes
Best: 401k match (7%), paid parental bonding leave (4 weeks), benefits available for part-time and full-time employees, wellness program that helps you earn money on your paycheck and points you can redeem for gift cards or merchandise, 10 bank paid holidays in addition to vacation time (2-5 weeks, depending on position and tenure)
Nobody can beat the 401k plan that 5/3 has to offer
