Company provides good health insurance.
Flexible time off, long paternity, generous stock plan, no retirement match
Vacation time is flexible and unlimited, just needs to be approved by your manager. Great health insurance coverage.
Poor dental coverage. Cost to employee for family bit high
working in fireeye means you have so many opportunities to make an impact. one thing i dont like is the lack ability to integrate different technologies as one running well-oiled machine.
Be warned that the company recently decided to stop providing ANY guaranteed paid leave. The new policy is that your leave is "unlimited" as long as your supervisor approves it. This means you're at the mercy of your supervisor if you want to take time off. It also means that you can't accrue vacation days over time so as to take a longer vacation, but can only take longer leave if you convince your supervisor. Also, you can't save up vacation days and cash them out later. The company wins heavily under the new policy because few people used all their vacation days due to our heavy workload and long hours. We used to be able to cash out unused days, but now the company doesn't have to pay us this anymore. Also, there is no 401(k) match at FireEye. Pros: Free coffee and snacks, free lunch once/week in Reston office (free lunch every day in Milpitas office). Other than that, it's a pretty standard benefits package.
Overall benefits are good. free lunch but no 401k match
Pros: 4 months paid maternity AND paternity leave, cell phone is paid for, unlimited sick-leave, snack and drink bar, very affordable health insurance, good amount of PTO offered. Cons: Absolutely no work from home in Draper, UT, no 401K match, no childcare available, free lunch in Milpitas, but not in Draper.
Free Lunches and snack were a plus.
Great Heath and Dental insurance plan, 13 federal holidays, 12 week maternity leave, 6 weeks short-term disability leave, 401k plan (without match though), 3-4 weeks of PTO, unlimited sick days.
