Paid personal days (available after one month) and paid vacation time (available after three months) are both granted to First Data employees. Paid time off increases with tenure.
employees used to get 8 personal days before the Bisignano regime, now they get 2
the best thing is you get paid time off after hired, the worse is its only 40 hours for the year.
Benefits are horrible when compared to its competitors in the same industry. Just avoid this company at all cost.
The vacation and paid time off policies are typical - nothing out of the ordinary.
you get a good amount right in the door and after a few year you build up more and more for each years allowance
Your vacation accrues after your 90 days of employment whereas you can use at any time and before it starts to accumulate.
Vacation time off is satisfactory but work demands do not afford the ability to take off for a full week. Need to take days as 3 day weekends
Vacation and time off is selected by employee and then submitted for approval. Usually you get a response within 72 hrs.
Used to have more personal days but they cut them in half a few years ago made a couple fixed holidays that I didn't want off.
Only two people are allowed off at one time in my building, so getting big holidays off is next to impossible
