The company gave me a small gift upon the birth of my child. It would have been nice to have more time off.
State mandated minimum is nothing special, especially compared to other tech companies in the area.
Last year, it was terrible- basically just what the state provides plus a 5% boost. Today, it is much better, but it's still not competitive in today's market. 13 weeks 100% paid for birthing parent, 7 weeks 100% paid for non-birthing parent, all in conjunction with state benefits. For women who are the main breadwinner in the family, it is extremely challenging.
