    Good health, 401k matching, then even when we are fully up and working due to Corona virus they gave out an extra bonus to help EVERYONE. Very impressive.

    Pros: Employee stock purchase plan, RSUs, modest 401k match, 100% premiums paid on individual health insurance and $1800/yr added to your HSA if you pick the HDHP option. Cons: I think the glaring missing benefit is lack of parental leave, and the 401k match is on the smaller side.

    401k matching was finally announced! small, but a step in the right direction.

    Overall benefits are okay. They recently started a small match for 401(k), however the biggest frustration is the PTO situation at Five9. The number of PTO days is on the lower end of average, but the fact that the company forces its employees to take 3 days (24 hours) of PTO between Christmas and the New Year is ridiculous. They promote it as “we’re closing down for a winter break so you can be with your family and relax” but in fact, they take 3 days worth of PTO away from you. In my opinion, if you care about your employees’ family and work life balance, do it like other companies and just shut down for a week like a holiday, but don’t make us take PTO!

    As a fast growing company, we are continually evaluating our benefits and policies, as evidenced by the recent roll out of our 401(k) match. We continue to look for ways to improve our benefit offerings, and our PTO policy is currently under review. Thanks for your feedback.

    The benefit is not that great. Fully paid health insurance for employees, but if you want to add dependents, you need to pay a lot out of each paycheck. PTO is really limited. only 15 days per year. Free lunch only on Friday, no other food/drink provided outside of that. No 401k match. ESPP program is good.
