Tracking free attendance for professional roles.
Always had some PTO when needed. Supervisor was understanding about medical leave.
pretty good, only one - personal time off - you have to use it for any time off vacation, sick, anything.
At my pay grade and for the number of years I have been working, the PTO is pretty generous at 5 weeks per year. Additionally, above a certain pay grade within the company, they stop tracking the vacation time you use. Thus, it is up to you and your manager to track your own vacation time. This gives one a lot of flexibility in working hours and days off. The down side, is that it is really hard to take all those days off each year. Additionally, PTO is great if you stay healthy and have no health emergencies that would take you out of work. If you get sick frequently or you ongoing medical issues that cause you to lose work time, then PTO is not great.
Make employee take a certain number of PTO per Quarter.

Managers and above have unlimited Paid Time off.
Above a certain grades gets free tracking attendance. PTO for everyone else
Company paid time off and I have not seeing a problem with people actually taking advantage of the benefit.
My particularly group had flexible PTO
