Graduate students must may a massive monthly amount to receive insurance. It will consume almost all of your stipend for the basic coverage. Very bad employer who continuously cuts budgets while the university thrives and grows. Good thing the football coach gets 1 million a year and produces a 5-6 record
Paid annual and sick leave, holidays, state and university sponsored insurance programs, and retirement. Salaried employees earn 6.77 hours of annual leave a pay period and (26.1 pay periods a year). in addition, the university is usually closed from Christmas Eve to New Years Day (this is paid days off (no annual leave used by salaried employees). Also, there is an Employee Educational Scholarship Program: FAU offers eligible employees tuition assistance for up to 6 credit hours per semester after 6 months of full-time employment.
Excellent on all counts for benefits.

They do not give good pay or benefits because they do not have the money to do so. They depend on young graduate students to work for free.
