the Company perks, tuition reimbursement, and medical is great. I heard they changed the benefit packet so I am not too sure about the future.
A good place to work but no benefit for part-time employees.
The insurance is amazing at FSCJ. You have three options for health insurance (one where the premium is paid by the employer). They also pay for life insurance, match your investment plan, generous paid vacation and sick time that you start accruing immediately upon hire, and several free therapy sessions.
Best thing is a pension option
You get every holiday off with pay, a week for spring break, and a week at Christmas. They pay your insurance. And they have a pension plan.
Good health care, dental, and vision. Great pension plan to help with saving for retirement. Other good savings options as well.
One of the best things is that staff members and their immediate family members can continue your education at the College for free or at least reduced fees while you are employed.
My health insurance was active within one month along with eye and dental coverage. The college paid for my benifits. Over all the benifits package is valued at around %36 of overall salary. There's so much more one can take advantage of so quickly once employed at FSCJ. 8hrs paid vacation builds every single month and if something comes up just ask ahead for time off anytime throughout the year. The benifits are great as I only have shared a couple!
Has decent benefits, including health, dental, retirement plan, and a good amount of vacation day and sick time. Also, most employees can participate in a summer schedule, where you only work 36 hours for the same amount of pay as 40 hours
Paid time off is very generous plus there are almost one month of paid holidays and 36 hour work weeks in the Summer. Retirement is through Florida Retirement System. Health care plans have gone down in quality over the last few years. Plus side is no cost to employee for coverage but adding a spouse or children can be more expensive than buying a better plan privately.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
