The benefits are better than most of the jobs I have been interviewing for.
Best thing was working with the coworkers. Worst thing was management and lack of budgeting money and that's why they went BK.
It all sucked they lied about everything
Health, dental and vision. You pay health and if you want premium dental you pay for it. Otherwise the company pays dental, vision, and life insurance which is a years pay. If you do vto it is held against you on attendance record
Full health and dental are provided after 60 days. 401k doesn't get matched until after a year.
Great benefits package and although they claim to have unlimited time off but as soon as you hit 7 days management will make sure you are talking to HR and pressure you to not take more days off in the year.
High premiums for not great benefits
The company paid a good amount which lead to a pretty good and competitive package slelection.
The insurance was not that great
Time Off Policy: If you work in Sales or Service the flexible time off policy aka "life happens" is equivalent to 5 days in your first year and 10 days in your second year. Only one person per team may be off at a time and two people per department so it's better to just call out sick than to request a day off. I was denied a Tuesday off that I requested to close on my first home a full month in advance. Just one example of life happening and FSW not accommodating. I ended up having to pay extra to close 5 days earlier. Health Insurance: I had two plans from different calendar years and both of them were the worst I've ever had. High premiums, high copays, high deductible and RX coverage was so convoluted that I simply couldn't afford medication. Vision coverage used to be great but they switched to Lincoln Financial as a carrier and most quality clinics will not take Lincoln. I was always billed a couple hundred dollars after my dental visits. Holiday Bonus for me in Sales after contributing $2.5mil in revenue and $350k in margin in 7 months was $740. Occasional happy hours and weekly free lunch was quite honestly the best benefit here.
