It is very good to work with ford
Great benefits with policies geared towards work life balance
Health, dental , vision, etc adequate. Vacation and holidays are great - approx 13 holidays peer year, and after 20 yrs, 5 weeks off.
health, 401k match, dental, life, great work environment, career path, upward mobility
I don't really know much about this because I am an intern. However, my full time co-workers love the benefits. Ford takes care of its employees really well, and that's a big reason so many of them have been working for the company for 10+ years.
401k funds are strong performing fund choices compared to other companies according to Financial Engines, Ford's selected financial planning company
Full benefits package, cost not too bad but decent amount out of pocket
Benefit package is pretty comprehensive. Annual merit increases have been somewhat low compared to other industries. Work life balance is good in some areas and telecommuting is becoming very prevalent.
Medical plan and dental plans are NOT GOOD - but their 401k is very competitive and they also contribute to a separate retirement plan for each employee regardless if they sign up for 401ks.
The worst thing about the benefits package is for the amount you pay for yourself, there should be more benefits and not less. I opted for the $80 per paycheck package for health/vision/dental and the amount I had to pay for a co-pay was really extraneous and almost not worth having.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
