Healthcare was very good but then got expensive
401K, Health Insurance, Paid Sick Days
100% the best benefits of any company
The benefits package at Forest was extraordinary and generous with 401K contributions, paid health insurance, dental and vision insurance, 2 weeks vacation per year immediately and one week additionally every so many years (don't recall exactly how this was distributed). Paid Life insurance for the amount of your annual salary.
Health insurance was very competitive.
Low starting salary non negotiable. Managers all have a different performance evaluation scale. Some very bad reps (Not working, cheating on tests, terrible sales people) had higher evaluation scores than other good reps due to subjective view by manager. Evaluations and manager bias play a huge part in yearly raise, stock options, etc.
The Company has a great benefit plan, lower than any other person I've talked to. You also get 2 weeks of vacation starting out and increased to 3 weeks after 2-3 years with the Company and so on. The Company will be changing benefit plans as the company was acquired by Actavis. What we have seen the benefits will be just as good.
401 K had a match of 50% up-to a max contribution of 6% (Note this may have changed after the merger). The medical plan is adequate.Salary meets the industry bench mark so no complaints.
Profit sharing, but that ended.
Great benefits package prior to Brent Saunders and the termination of over 500 jobs, company wide. And now the St. Louis facility is being closed.
