They only match up to 3% on the 401K. I wish it were more.

Employee needs to pay a lot for health insurance and the copay is high.
The basic benefits are average to poor, the fringe benefits are non-existent. They do have some perks at the headquarters like a gym but don't offer anything similar for other locations. Telecommuting is a seriously locked down thing, they really need to embrace the 21st century and make it no big deal and a common thing people are allowed to take advantage of. Also- Sabbaticals! People deserve them, let them take them.
401k profit sharing was great, when there were profits. Options were great, when they weren't underwater. Execs cut mid management bonus budget % in 2014. Not sure if upper management was subject to same cuts (doubtful).
The benefits are pretty typical.
Package is good. On the most part, they are in par with the majority of manufacturing companies. They are not anywhere near a Google, Facebook, but I believe they did the best they could.
Company perks usually comes quarterly. Bonuses on successful projects. Paid time offs are the standard hours

Health insurance was fine but changed on an annual basis. 401(k) matching was eliminated at some point. HR could not help you in general with benefits questions.
