A rich benefits package helps make up for the fact that direct compensation can be a bit a low compared to competing employers.

The work from home policy is a great perk and there are flexible health insurance offerings (premium vs. high-deductible plan).

Forrester has a standard benefits package for a public company of its size: 401(k) matching, insurance options, fitness program. It recently started offering two tiers of healthcare insurance -- one with lower premiums and higher deductible, and one with higher premiums and a slightly lower deductible.

Solid package but changes made to health insurance without fully communicating to current employees. Smaller perks that are free to the company like passing on group discounts can be pleasant, but health insurance is increasingly expensive with increasing minimum spend before benefits kick in. Not large enough to negotiate really superb insurance rates. Nice PTO plan.
