401k is very good, basic health dental and vision
Work life balance benefits great, health insurance is pricey for family package.
Normal benefits package - Best aspect is 401k match. 3 weeks vacation Healthcare/Dental 401k Discounts
Forrester has a standard benefits package for a public company of its size: 401(k) matching, insurance options, fitness program. It recently started offering two tiers of healthcare insurance -- one with lower premiums and higher deductible, and one with higher premiums and a slightly lower deductible.
Solid package but changes made to health insurance without fully communicating to current employees. Smaller perks that are free to the company like passing on group discounts can be pleasant, but health insurance is increasingly expensive with increasing minimum spend before benefits kick in. Not large enough to negotiate really superb insurance rates. Nice PTO plan.
For someone young and just starting out Forrester is extremely helpful in explaining their offerings and making sure people know where to go to get help when they have questions
Maternity Leave & Lack of any real Leave of Absence
The healthcare packages seem particularly generous, especially in this age of the ACA. Stock purchase, time off, compensation, 401K are all pretty good, but what you would expect. The company's policy about working from home versus from an office is too strict and outdated.
Some of the best benefits I have seen in these times (if you choose the more expensive option). BCBS of MA is the provider.
The best thing: great health insurance coverage. I've had physicians and doctor office staff comment on how great it is. The worst thing: if you're in sales you CANNOT take any time off the last two weeks of the year due to Forrester being on a calendar fiscal year end. It's the worst when you can't fully enjoy the holidays with your family and friends that are on vacation. Definite case of FOMO!
